Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dental team by assisting during procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean work environment.

The successful candidate will have strong communication, a caring demeanor, and the ability to start within a month in a fast-paced setting. The role requires Washington RDA active status, BLS certification, and at least two years of chairside experience, including proficiency with provisional crowns.

Qualifications

• Washington RDA active required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 2 yrs chairside experience.
• Must be proficient with making provisional crowns.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after treatment.
• Take digital dental X-rays accurately using DEXIS software.
• Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
• Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.
• Record and update patient histories and treatment plans in dental software.
• Manage dental instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.

In this Dental Assistant opportunity, you will support the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting during dental procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring and professional demeanor, ability to start within a month and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule (days/hours)

Mon 8:30-5:30 Tue 9:30-6:0 Thu 9:30-6:00 Friday 7:00-3:00

Qualifications

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.

Compensation

$25-$30/hour
