Job summary

Angel Dental Care is seeking a diligent Dental Assistant to work chair-side with our practitioners, delivering compassionate patient care and upholding our high standards of service.

You will assist during procedures, perform charting and radiographs, review records with patients, and help with lab work and operatory preparation while maintaining infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Chair-side assistance during dental procedures.
• Ability to chart and take diagnostic radiographs.
• Review dental records with patients and provide postoperative instructions.
• Take vital signs (BP and pulse) for each patient when seated.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance for provider during dental procedures
• Charting and taking x-rays that are diagnostic and appropriate to the series prescribed
• Review dental records with patients, providing instruction on postoperative procedures
• Take vital signs (blood pressure and heart rate) on every patient when seated
• Support Practice Manager and clinical team with assigned tasks
• Friendly positive demeanor at all times
• Organize and maintain lab cases
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Prepare and breakdown operatory and equipment prior to and between each patient visit
• Ensure all OSHA/Infection Control and Dental Board policies and procedures are properly followed
• Ability to work in fast pace environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Be willing to work flexible shifts
• Maintain annual OHSA, HIPPA and infection control training as required by law

The Dental Assistant works chair-side with the practitioners to ensure a positive experience for the patient while delivering on Angel Dental Care commitment to exceptional customer service. The Dental Assistant supports the clinical treatment care of patients. Dental Assistant should possess a friendly, professional outgoing demeanor and excellent organizational skills.
