Job summary

North Columbus Dental Partners LLP in Kentucky is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support the dentist during exams and procedures and help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments.

The ideal candidate has an associate's degree in dental assisting and prior experience, is friendly and patient-focused, and committed to delivering a top-notch dental experience.

Certifications: CDA, Radiology, Hep B, with Coronal Polishing optional.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a certified school.
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
• Hep B Vaccine
• Radiology Certification
• Coronal Polishing is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
• Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
• Schedule appointments
