Job summary

Aspen Dental in Hot Springs, Arkansas is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients. You’ll assist during procedures, take X-rays, and help maintain a clean, safe operatory while delivering compassionate care.

You’ll join a team with a strong commitment to patient experience, offer infection control, charting support, and patient education. The role includes ongoing training, a stable full-time schedule, and a benefits package designed to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license/permit for state practice and x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
