Job summary

Specialized Dental Partners is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support clinicians and ensure outstanding patient care at our Hewlett and Massapequa locations. This full-time role features a standard M-F schedule with rotating Saturdays, requiring radiology certification and prior dental assisting experience.

You will assist with chair-side care, take X-rays, manage records, and maintain infection control while delivering a positive patient experience for every appointment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Radiology Certification.
• Dental Assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Drs by assisting, charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment
• Take dental x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
• Welcome, comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care
• Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulations

You’ll work closely with our providers during treatment, support outstanding patient care, and help keep our practice running smoothly. East Coast Endodontics is a busy, team-oriented specialty practice serving patients across our Hewlett and Massapequa locations. We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in creating a positive experience for every patient.

Schedule: Full Time, M-F 8am-5pm with rotating Saturdays 8am-2pm

Responsibilities

The salary range for this role is $26-$31 per hour.
