Job summary

Smiles by Design in Heber City, UT is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly, upbeat team. You’ll work closely with two experienced dentists, assisting with a variety of procedures and helping with sterilization and front desk support when needed.

The schedule is Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 7:30 AM–2:00 PM, with a 4.5‑day vibe. compensation includes $20–$28/hour DOE plus a $500 signing bonus, and a supportive environment for growth.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience (1 year preferred).
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, multi-provider practice.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Someone who enjoys helping wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with a variety of procedures including fillings and CEREC crowns.
• Assist with root canals, extractions, implants, dentures, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics.
• Help with sterilization, room turnover, and occasionally support the front desk with phones, scheduling, or patient payments.

Schedule

• Enjoy a 4.5 day work week with an early start and early finish to your Fridays!
• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch)
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (no lunch break)

What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with our doctors assisting with a variety of procedures, including:

• Fillings and CEREC same‑day crowns
• Root canals and extractions
• Dental implants and dentures
• Cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics

You’ll also help with sterilization, room turnover, and occasionally support the front desk with phones, scheduling, or patient payments.
