Job summary

Montclair South Dental in Hackensack, NJ is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You will support the dentist during procedures, take digital X-rays, and help prepare rooms with a focus on patient comfort and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of dental assisting experience, strong infection control knowledge, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset. Experience with Dentrix Ascend or iTero is a plus, and bilingual abilities are welcome.

Qualifications

Montclair South Dental is seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for a friendly, reliable professional who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced dental environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience
• Must be proficient in taking digital dental X-rays
• Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dentrix Ascend
• Experience with iTero digital scanning
• Familiarity with treatment planning and patient education
