Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and specialists, prepare rooms and instruments, and help patients feel at ease throughout visits.

You will take and prepare X-rays where permitted, maintain infection control, and educate patients on oral hygiene while working as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care and helping the clinical team provide high-quality dentistry. You’ll work alongside dentists, specialists and other dental professionals to help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit. From preparing patients and treatment rooms to assisting during procedures and educating patients, your work makes a difference every day. Schedule (days/hours)

Tues-Thurs 6:45-6, Fri 6:45-12

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before your start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive, dependable and willing-to-learn attitude.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but qualified new dental assistants may be considered depending on the practice and state requirements.

Compensation

$20-$26/Hr.
