Mid America Health is seeking a Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team in the Fort Wayne, IN area. The role is five days a week (Mon-Fri, during school hours) with a company vehicle provided and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, FSA, and HSA.

Travel within a 2-hour radius is required. The ideal candidate holds an Indiana X-ray license, CPR certification, and 1 year of dental assisting experience.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana X-ray License is a MUST.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies, and upkeep of the company van, all in your possession.
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as needed.
• Load/unload and setup of dental operatory inside school.
• Perform various administrative duties.

Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team! This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Fort Wayne, IN area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.

• Hourly rate $27.00 hour for clinic hours worked and drive time
• NO weekend hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account
• Company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card
• An active Indiana X-ray License is required for this opportunity
