Job summary

The Smilist Dental in Woodlyn, PA is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our team and support doctors in delivering high-quality care. You will prepare patients, set up trays, and help maintain a clean, friendly clinic environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, an active PA x-ray license, and strong communication skills to work well with patients and colleagues; Dentrix experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dental assistant experience.
• Active PA x-ray license is required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment and procedures.
• Dentrix experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during procedures and maintain a sterile, welcoming environment.
• Prepare trays, instruments and ensure adequate supply levels in each operatory.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and support front desk flow.
• Maintain attention to detail and adapt to multiple tasks as needed.
• Uphold professional conduct and patient comfort at all times.

We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice and contribute to our mission of excellent dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year
• Must have an active PA x-ray license
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Position Details:

• Schedule:Full Time - Mondays and Wednesdays-Fridays
• Salary Range:$22.00-$27.00/hour
