Job summary

Aspen Dental Florence is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. You will assist during procedures, take dental x-rays, set up and break down operatory, and help manage patient flow to ensure a smooth visit.

In this role you’ll support infection control, educate patients on oral hygiene, and assist with charting and intraoral scans. We offer paid time off, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification if required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse patients.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Perform digital intraoral scans and impressions.
