Job summary

Aspen Dental in Florence, South Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support clinicians and improve patient care. The role includes taking dental X-rays, preparing operatory spaces, and assisting during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays and perform basic imaging tasks.
• Set up and breakdown operatory after treatment to maintain a sterile environment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-care instructions.
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns as needed.
• Perform impressions, bite registrations, and digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors and maintain accurate records.
• Handle various office tasks and collaborate with the team for optimal patient satisfaction.
