Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant in a full-time role in the United States. The position offers a salary of $21–$24 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for CE through TAG U.

You will assist with treatments, take x-rays, set up operatory, manage infection control, and help with patient handoffs and charting to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification if required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
