Job summary

Meister Dental Group, part of Seva Dental Team, is hiring a Dental Assistant to keep the day running smoothly, support the clinical team, and ensure patients feel comfortable from the moment they sit down.

You will help prepare patients, assist during procedures, take radiographs, manage charting, and maintain a clean, sterile environment in a fast-paced office with a team-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and treatment.
• Assist doctors during procedures and with clinical documentation.
• Create a warm, educational chairside experience.
• Take digital radiographs/X-rays.

We’re Hiring: Dental Assistant

Meister Dental Group- Fairfield is looking for a Dental Assistant who can keep things moving, support the clinical team, and help patients feel comfortable from the minute they sit down.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be a big part of keeping the day running smoothly and helping create a great experience for patients and teammates alike. That includes:

• Preparing patients for exams and treatment
• Assisting doctors during procedures and helping with clinical documentation
• Creating a warm, educational, and reassuring chairside experience
• Taking digital radiographs/X-rays
• Assisting doctors and hygienists with charting
• Taking detailed notes and recording important patient information
• Staying flexible and focused in a busy office
• Maintaining a clean, sterile environment with high sanitization standards
• Learning and using dental software (or putting your current skills to work)

Lab / Back Office Duties

Because every great clinical day starts behind the scenes too:

• Sanitize operatories according to CDC guidelines
• Sterilize instruments and maintain sterilization workflow
• Stock rooms and supplies
• Check in and organize lab cases
• Communicate with dental labs
• Help order supplies and keep things running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment
• Strong communication skills (with patients and team members)
• Great organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
