Job summary

Gentle Dental Exeter is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and staff in delivering high-quality care. You will greet patients, assist during procedures, and ensure clean, organized treatment rooms. You will also take radiographs, educate patients, and help with post-operative instructions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, infection control, and efficient patient flow, with opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth in a supportive practice.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• CDA preferred and licensure requirements as per state.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, break down, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Support providers as needed per practice requirements.

• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs

Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• C.D.A. preferred
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care

Hourly Rate

$25 - $27 USD
