Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support a busy practice in Dickson, TN. You will assist during procedures, take dental X-rays, and help maintain a clean operatory while supporting patient care and clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
