Cambridge Dental Group in Dearborn Heights, MI is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our modern, technology-driven practice. Earn $23-$28 per hour with full benefits, monthly bonuses, and room to grow while delivering quality patient care.

You’ll assist chairside, prepare rooms, take X-rays, maintain infection control, and collaborate with a supportive team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred.
• General dentistry experience preferred.
• Open Dental, iTero, or CBCT experience is a plus; training offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside with general dentistry procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain turnover.
• Take dental X-rays and assist with clinical documentation.

What You'll Do

• Assist the dentist chairside with a variety of general dentistry procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain efficient room turnover
• Take dental X-rays and assist with clinical documentation
• Provide excellent patient care and education
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards
• Help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently
• Work closely with the dental team to create a positive patient experience
• Collaborate with our neighboring specialty team when needed

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
• General dentistry experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable working chairside in a busy practice
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Experience with Open Dental, iTero, or CBCT is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

Schedule

Approximately 38-40 hours per week:

*Some combination of our office hours below*

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2 Saturdays per month: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Weekday off provided during weeks when a Saturday is worked

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
