Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in Washington state is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care. You will assist during procedures, prepare instruments, and maintain a clean, organized workspace, while providing clear communication and compassionate patient care.

The role requires active Washington RDA, BLS certification, and about 1 year of chairside experience. Proficiency with provisional crowns is required; typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00–6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.
• Take digital dental X-rays accurately using DEXIS software.
• Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
• Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.
• Record and update patient histories and treatment plans in the dental software.
• Manage dental instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed during procedures.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.

In this Dental Assistant opportunity, you will support the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting during dental procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring and professional demeanor, ability to start within a month and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday-Friday 8:00-6:00pm

Responsibilities

Compensation
