Job summary

Aspen Dental in Conway, SC is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients in a fast-paced practice. You will help with procedures, take x-rays, set up operatory, sterilize equipment, and educate patients on oral hygiene. A strong team player and good communicator is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Perform denture relines and fabricate temporary crowns.
• Make impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Complete office tasks as necessary.
