Job summary

Comfort Dental Belleview & Simms Dental Prof LLC is seeking a friendly, professional dental assistant to join our growing practice. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience or be willing to be trained in four-handed dentistry, charting, xrays, sterilization, and room turnover.

The role involves preparing operatorys, assisting dentists, and supporting patient care. Hours include a minimum 36 hours per week with some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in dental office or dental assisting.
• Willing to be trained for the practice’s procedures.
• Comfort with four-handed dentistry and basic chair-side tasks.

Responsibilities

• Chart patient records.
• Take full mouth x-rays.
• Perform four-handed dentistry.
• Set up rooms and break down rooms.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare operatory.
• Pour alginate impressions.
• Place fillings (amalgam/composite).
• Take final crown/bridge impressions.
• Fabricate temporary crowns.
• Place rubber dam.
• Place stainless steel crowns.
• Adjust and relines dentures.

We are a general dental office that treat our patients with care, compassion and respect. Our practice ranges from fillings, cleanings, crowns, root canals, oral surgery, dentures, and pediatrics. If you are willing to learn, we will train you in these fields of dentistry. We are looking for someone who is responsible, professional, hard working, eager to learn, detail oriented, and willing to give their best! We are looking for someone with at least 1 year experience, but are willing to train the right candidate.

Candidate should be able to:

• chart
• take full mouth xrays
• perform four-handed dentistry
• set up rooms
• break down rooms
• sterilize
• pour alginate impressions
• place fillings (amalgam/composite)***
• take final crown/bridge impression***
• make temporary crowns***
• place rubber dam***
• place stainless steel crowns***
