The HealthCare Connection in Ohio is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our Mt. Healthy and Lincoln Heights Health Centers. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a comfortable, efficient dental experience.

You will prepare rooms, assist dentists, maintain documentation, and uphold infection control standards while working with a community-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Ohio Radiographer’s License (required).
• Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Familiarity with dental and infectious control standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn electronic dental record systems.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and open to supervision.

Responsabilités

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
• Provide chairside assistance to the Dentist, Dental Hygienist, and/or EFDA
• Record exam findings and maintain accurate documentation
• Monitor sterilization cycles and follow infection control protocols
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure clinical readiness
• Support patient flow and clinic operations
• Assist with various dental procedures as needed

Position Summary
