Job summary

Dental Care Center in Chicago, IL is seeking an energetic Dental Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with providers to ensure smooth dental procedures and patient comfort in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, prior dental assistant experience, and familiarity with Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend. Knowledge of dental materials, instruments, digital x-ray, sterilization, and infection control is required.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous dental assistant experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge: Digital x-ray, sterilization, and infection management knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dental procedures and patient flow.

• Support providers to ensure patient comfort and efficient visits.

Job Requirements

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Experience: Previous dental assistant experience strongly preferred. Previous experience with Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend systems preferred.

Knowledge: Practical knowledge of different dental materials, instruments, and procedures required. Digital x-ray, sterilization, and infection management knowledge required. Comfort working with computers, scanners, printers, and fax machines required.
