Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they arrive for treatment.

• Assist with various dental procedures and take radiographs.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety of the work environment.
• Take radiographs and assist the dentist with procedures.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize instruments.
• Protect patient information in accordance with HIPAA.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must be a team player, self-motivated, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Dental Assistant certification

Must have NC X-ray, OSHA and CPR certifications

Experience with Dental Software

Duties:

Greet patients as they arrive for the Dental Treatment

Review, update medical history, patient insurance and billing information

Educate patients on recommended oral hygiene according to the dentist

Provides information to patients by answering Dental Treatment questions and concerns

Supports Dental Care by preparing patients for treatment and surgery

Taking radiographs, assisting both the dentist with various Dental procedures, pouring and trimming models, using proper infection control protocol to disinfect treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

Maintains patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential by HIPPA guidelines

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
