Burlington Family Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in a modern, patient-centered practice. This full-time position offers weekday hours with a focus on quality care and patient comfort.

You will support dentists with a range of procedures, manage treatment rooms, and help maintain infection-control and charting standards. Collaboration with doctors, hygienists, and front-office staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Washington Dental Assistant Registration required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Comfortable taking dental x-rays.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
• Strong chairside assisting skills.
• Friendly and professional with patients.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to jump in and help the team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms.
• Take dental x-rays and intraoral photos.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards.
• Keep operatories stocked, clean, and organized.
• Support patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
• Complete dental charting and clinical documentation.
• Perform basic lab duties as needed.
• Work closely with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front office team members.
• Help keep the clinical day running smoothly and on schedule.

Job Description

We are an established family practice with a modern office, a broad mix of dentistry, and a team that believes patients should feel known and cared for—not rushed through an appointment.

Pay and Schedule

• $19–$24 per hour , based on experience
• Full-time opportunity
• Monday –Thursday Schedule
  • Mon 10-6
  • Tue 10-6
  • Wed 10-6
  • Thurs 12-8

We know schedule matters. Our extended weekday office hours give us some flexibility to build a schedule that works for both the practice and the right candidate.
