Job summary

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our busy practice. You will assist the dental team, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, educate patients, and support dentists during procedures.

You will also manage scheduling and maintain patient records. The role requires meeting state requirements as listed (CT, FL, GA, MA, MI, NJ, OH, TX) and welcomes candidates willing to train.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
