Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant in a full-time capacity in Bradenton, FL. The role involves aiding during procedures, taking x‑rays, sterilizing equipment, and supporting patient care while delivering high-quality service in a collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license/registration or permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

X-ray certification (if required)

How You’ll Make a Difference:
