Job summary

DOCS Health in Michigan is seeking Dental Assistants to support mobile dental exams, treatment, and X-rays for military service members. Weekend availability is required, with occasional weekdays as needed in MI.

You will perform 4-handed chair-side assisting, digital X-rays (BW & PANO), and instrument sterilization in a mobile clinic setting, ensuring high standards of infection control and patient care. Experience with basic admin tasks and computer programs a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant Certification in Michigan (CDA, RDA, EDDA or EFDA).
• Active Radiology Certification and CPR/BLS certification.
• Weekend availability is required and dental service will be in mobile clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental services in a mobile environment.
• Perform digital X-rays (BW and panoramic).
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of MI on an "as needed basis". We Provide Health Readiness Services To Meet The Medical And Dental Requirements To Maintain a Deployable Military Force For The Following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities:

• Provide dental services in a mobile environment.
• Provide Digital x-Rays (BW & PANO).
• Provide sterilization of instruments.

Requirements:

• Active Dental Assistant Certification in the state (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA)
• Active Radiology Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable with 4-handed chair-side assisting
• Experience with sterilization
• Experience with basic administrative functions
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
