Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a full-time Dental Appeals Support specialist to assist in the Par Provider Dental Appeals program. The role focuses on processing appeals, preparing determination letters, and updating required systems while coordinating with clinical staff to ensure timely, provider-focused responses.

Responsibilities include handling multiple tasks, reporting on outcomes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Comprehends contemporary dental care standards, practices, and procedures.
• Possesses high level of technical knowledge and radiograph interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process appeals and determinations in the Par Provider Dental Appeals within regulatory timelines.
• Prepare dental requests and determinations letters; update systems as needed.
• Complete reporting and coordinate with clinical support staff (Medical Directors, Nurses, Providers).
• Move cases in the MedHok system and ensure timely provider-focused responses to complaints/appeals.
• Identify trends and emerging issues; report and propose solutions.
