Job summary

Smile Partners USA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist / Payment Poster to join our Revenue Cycle team in Troy, MI. The role handles posting of insurance and patient payments, denials, and day-sheet balancing for a multi-office dental network.

Ideal candidates have dental posting experience, familiarity with practice management systems, and the ability to work at a fast pace while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with dental posting and accounts receivable is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent customer service and office teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Post insurance and patient payments to the practice management system for a multi-office dental group.
• Balance day sheets to ensure accuracy.
• Scan checks and EOBs for record-keeping.
• Document claim denials in the PM system and communicate next steps.
• Identify underpaid or denied payments at contracted rates and notify supervisor.
• Support office staff and coordinate with providers as needed.
• Handle high volumes while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Job Duties

• Post insurance and patient payments to practice management system for multi office dental group
• Balance day sheets to ensure accuracy
• Scan checks and EOBs
• Properly communicate and document claim denials in the practice management system
• Identify payment issues not being paid at the allowedcontracted rate
• Identify provider issues and communicate to a supervisor in a timely manner
• Support office staff
• Experience
• Previous Dental preferred Medical or Dental posting experience required
• Computer skills required to operate practice management system windows operating system
• Candidates must be able to handle a high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Dentrix software experience a plus
• Schedule Monday Friday 800am 500pm
