Job summary

CTC in Dallas seeks a data-focused professional to design and optimize data views (base, derived, integration, and summary) and to develop dashboards for the Denovo platform.

You will write SQL and VQL, transform and integrate data, and collaborate with teams to optimize long-running queries while documenting solutions and supporting REST/SOAP services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SQL experience with OLTP, Data Warehouse and Big Data databases.
• 4+ years in a Data Analyst/Data Engineer/SQL Developer role.
• 2+ years writing medium to complex SQL queries/stored procedures.
• 2+ years of experience with Denovo.
• Experience with query optimization techniques.
• Experience developing and supporting REST and SOAP API data services.
• Experience in troubleshooting data quality and performance issues.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Experience working with Jira.
• Experience with GitLab.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling concepts.
• Strong understanding of data integrity concepts.
• Good communication skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Works well in team environment.
• Exposure to ETL tools like Informatica and Ab Initio a plus.
• Previous experience with Python development a plus.
• Previous experience with Master Data Management tools a plus.
• Big Data Experience a plus (Hadoop, MongoDB).
• Postgres and Cloud Experience a plus.
