Job summary

Nava Software Solutions LLC is seeking a Denodo Developer for our Dallas, TX office for a 6-12 month engagement. The role focuses on building virtual data integration solutions and optimizing Denodo queries with cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of SQL experience across OLTP, data warehouse and Big Data, with hands-on Denodo knowledge, and is comfortable developing monitoring views and documentation for data solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SQL experience with OLTP, Data Warehouse and Big Data databases.
• 4+ years in a Data Analyst/Data Engineer/SQL Developer role.
• 2+ years writing medium to complex SQL queries/stored procedures.
• 2+ years of experience with Denodo.
• Experience with query optimization techniques.
• Experience developing and supporting REST and SOAP API data services.
• Experience in troubleshooting data quality and performance issues.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Experience working with Jira.
• Experience working with GitLab.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data integrity concepts.
• Good communication skills, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Exposure to ETL tools like Informatica and Ab Initio a plus.
• Previous experience with Python development a plus.
• Previous experience with Master Data Management tools a plus.
• Big Data experience a plus (Hadoop, MongoDB).
• Postgres and Cloud experience a plus.

Denovo Developer

• The primary responsibilities of the Denodo Developer role include developing virtual data integration solutions, analyzing and optimizing existing integration queries/views, and developing new Denodo platform monitoring processes. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively optimize long-running queries and provide thorough functional documentation.
• The ideal candidate brings over four years of advanced SQL querying experience, a solid grasp of data modeling, and expertise in troubleshooting performance issues. Prior experience with Denodo, traditional ETL tools, and Python is highly advantageous.
