Job summary

Delta Airlines is seeking a Cabin Agent to clean and service aircraft interiors, ensuring all areas are spotless and ready for passenger boarding. You will prepare cabins, check and arrange supplies, and assist ramp operations as needed.

This full-time role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with strict attention to safety, cleanliness and timeliness. You will benefit from flight privileges for you and family, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Ability to work in extreme weather and small spaces.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in cramped or high locations and handle heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service aircraft interiors including cabin, cockpit, galleys and lavatories.
• Prepare the cabin for boarding and departure with thorough cleaning.
• Inspect and arrange passenger cabin furnishings and supplies per specs; ensure cleanliness.
• Assist Ramp agents after cabin cleaning.
• Perform FOD walks on ramp between flights.
• Marshal aircrafts during arrival and departure.
• Ensure ground equipment is ready for upcoming flights.
• Read weight/balance loading instructions, hazard labels, manifests and baggage tags.
• Perform other related duties appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities for Cabin Agent

• Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories.
• Helps prepare the cabin for Customer boarding and departure, which can include cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories.
• Checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications and cleaning must be highly detailed and specific to ensure all areas are completely free of dirt, debris, marks, fingerprints, etc.
• Assist Ramp agents when Cabin Cleaning is complete.
• Performs FOD walks in the ramp area between flights.
• Marshal aircrafts during arrival and departure.
• Ensures necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights.
• Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tags.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications for Cabin Agent

• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
• Eligible to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Flexible schedule allowing work during nights, weekends, and holidays. Some shifts may require extended hours to meet business needs.
• Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
