Job description

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is seeking a highly experienced Demolition Project Manager to lead high-profile, large-scale, industrial demolition projects throughout the United States and South America. This executive-level role is ideal for a strategic construction leader who thrives on complex, fast-paced projects and is committed to operational excellence, safety, and sustainability.

The successful candidate will oversee projects from demolition planning through final site closeout. This position offers the opportunity to manage coordinate multi-million-dollar, landmark demolition projects, and influence organizational and project-level strategy at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

As the senior leader for demolition operations, you will manage all facets of project delivery, including preconstruction planning, scheduling, permitting, budgeting, and site logistics for high-impact projects. You will direct and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals, quality standards, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing comprehensive site-specific safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.

You will oversee all project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, submittals, and closeout packages, while collaborating closely with estimating and preconstruction teams to ensure precise planning, resource allocation, and cost control. Proactively identifying and resolving challenges, you will safeguard project schedules, budgets, and client satisfaction while delivering landmark demolition projects that enhance future urban infrastructure and redevelopment efforts

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) and bring 10+ years of proven experience managing large-scale demolition projects, including complex commercial or industrial structures. You must demonstrate mastery of demolition techniques, heavy equipment operations, and site logistics, coupled with a deep understanding of OSHA and environmental compliance requirements.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required to manage high-performing teams, navigate multi-stakeholder environments, and deliver projects that exceed client expectations. Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, high-profile contracts, and industrial redevelopment projects is strongly preferred. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite is expected, along with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement innovative solutions that enhance project efficiency, safety, and quality.

Why This Opportunity is Compelling

This role offers a rare opportunity to lead transformative demolition projects that redefine urban landscapes and infrastructure while working with a company committed to safety, quality, and excellence.
