Job summary

The Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law in New York City is seeking undergraduate interns for Spring 2027 to assist with research, administrative, and clerical duties.

This in-person internship offers 10–20 hours per week at $18.40 per hour, with opportunities to support litigation, reports, and advocacy across Voting, Elections and Government, Judiciary, Federal Reform, Redistricting, and related projects.

Qualifications

• Independent self-starters; detail-oriented, punctual, and highly organized.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; data experience is helpful.
• Open to evolving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general research, administrative, and clerical tasks.
• Filing, answering phones, coordinating meetings, drafting routine correspondence, and covering the reception desk.
• Support litigation, research for reports, and advocacy efforts in Voting, Elections and Government, Judiciary, Federal Reform, Redistricting, and related projects.
