Job summary
Azza HealthCare Agency in Moraga, CA is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide non-medical, person-centered companionship and activity-based support for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. You will work with families to follow care plans and help with daily tasks in clients' homes.

Qualifications
- Experience or strong ability to support individuals with dementia-related needs.
- Compassion, patience, and excellent person-centered communication.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing behaviors.
- Comfort with personal care assistance and meal preparation tasks.
- Safe driving and responsible transportation of clients.
- Strong observational skills and clear wellbeing reporting.
Responsibilities
- Follow customized care plans to deliver consistent, individualized support.
- Assist with personal care and daily activities while maintaining dignity and independence.
- Provide companionship through engaging activities and meaningful conversation.
- Prepare meals and support nutrition needs as outlined in the care plan.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, comfortable living environment.
- Drive clients to outings and appointments when needed.
- Monitor and communicate changes in condition or behavior to the appropriate parties.
