Job summary

BGF Industries in Danville, VA seeks an experienced Demand Planning Manager to lead demand and resource planning in a manufacturing environment. This role owns, adjusts, and optimizes forecast data to support supply planning and financial forecasting while aligning customer demand with manufacturing capacity and capabilities.

You will develop an 18-month rolling demand plan at the SKU level, review forecasts, collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Product Management to ensure on-time,

Qualifications

• Five years of demand-planning experience.
• Strong Excel skills with modeling and data analysis.
• Manufacturing and supply-chain experience preferred.
• Experience with Infor M3 or a similar ERP system preferred.
• Familiarity with forecasting tools and statistical planning methods preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical judgment, communication, organization, and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate regional and global demand planning and forecast arbitration.
• Provide forecast and sales analysis to support business decisions.
• Establish and improve demand-planning processes, tools, and operating rhythms.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Resource Managers, plant operational leaders, and Product Management.
• Deliver planning outputs accurately and within established deadlines.
