Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking a Demand Planner I/II to support the GIB supply chain management software and forecasting processes. You will analyze historical data, market trends, and customer behavior to predict future demand and guide leadership decisions.

The role requires collaboration with procurement, supply chain teams, and material replenishment planning. Minimum travel is required, with a competitive base pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in procurement, buying or demand planning/forecasting.
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in business, supply chain or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience.
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in business, supply chain or a related field of study preferred.
  • Minimum travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Report on exceptions to demand and potential sales trends to enable leadership to make informed decisions.
  • Monitor standard processes and KPIs from BU’s/Sourcing function with feedback and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Coordinators to ensure output of demand reviews informs material replenishments.
  • Collaborate with Raw Materials Buyers and Manager to factor demand reviews into replenishment decisions.
  • Manage the raw materials forecast, handling tactical to strategic problems and escalating complex issues.
  • Lead monthly face-to-face business reviews with steel service providers and analyze usage trends.
  • Some sourcing activities may be required.
