Job description

PT Organics Ltd (PTO) has a simple goal: to provide heathy snacks for kids and toddlers. The 100% organic products are distributed across the USA; including natural, FD&M, conventional and food service. The PTO team is small and agile and believes the key ingredient to success is its people.

About the Role:

As our Demand Planner, you will own the end-to-end demand planning process — building and maintaining accurate forecasts, partnering closely with Sales and Marketing, and ensuring our supply chain runs lean without sacrificing fill rates.

Key Responsibilities:
Demand Forecasting & Planning
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12–18 month statistical demand forecast across all 40 SKUs, updated monthly.
  • Incorporate inputs from sales pipelines, marketing promotions, seasonality, and new product launches into baseline forecasts.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy (MAPE/bias) and implement continuous improvement actions to close gaps.
  • Identify demand signals (POS data, customer orders, distribution changes) and translate them into actionable forecast adjustments.
  • Lead the monthly demand review as part of the S&OP cycle, presenting consensus forecast to cross-functional leadership.
  • Facilitate alignment between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain on volume assumptions and business risks.
  • Maintain a documented demand plan with clearly stated assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
Inventory & Supply Collaboration
  • Partner with supply planning and procurement to translate demand signals into production, inventory targets and distribution requirements planning.
  • Help establish and maintain safety stock levels, reorder points, and service-level targets by SKU.
  • Monitor and report on inventory health metrics including stock cover, inventory ageing that flag potential stock-outs and excess inventory positions proactively, with recommended corrective actions.
Promotions & New Product Planning
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to quantify incremental lift from trade promotions, new channel expansions, and seasonal programs.
  • Build pre- and post-event analyses to improve accuracy of future promotional forecasts
  • Support new SKU launches and phase-outs with launch curves, cannibalization estimates, and end-of-life planning.
Data, Reporting & Tools
  • Own demand planning tools and data models; maintain clean, accurate master data for all SKUs.
  • Build and publish weekly and monthly KPI dashboards (forecast accuracy, fill rate, inventory turns, days of supply, FG exposure/aging).
  • Leverage ERP and planning systems to automate routine reporting and exception management.
  • Build Excel-based model for near-term requirements. Work with cross-functional team to scope demand planning software needs.
Qualifications:
Required
  • 3–5 years of demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management experience — CPG industry a must.
  • Demonstrated experience building statistical forecasts and managing a multi-SKU portfolio.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, scenario modeling); experience with ERP systems (Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • Familiarity with S&OP processes and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Statistics.
  • Experience using syndicated data resources (Spins, Nielson, IRI, etc.).
Preferred
  • Experience with demand planning software (Anaplan, Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, or similar).
  • Exposure to trade promotion management and promotional lift modeling.
  • APICS CPIM or IBF CPF certification (or in progress).
  • Experience at a company scaling from $30M–$100M in revenue.
