Job summary

Insight Global in Summit, NJ is seeking a Demand Planner to maintain accurate forecasts and support the transformation agenda. You will analyze historical data and market trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure forecasts align with business expectations.

Requires 3–5 years in demand planning, SAP proficiency, and experience with S&OP/IBP processes. You will drive process improvements and help identify risks and opportunities in forecasting.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of demand planning experience within a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience managing 100+ SKUs simultaneously.
  • Experience using SAP to create accurate demand forecasts.
  • Led or contributed to monthly S&OP or IBP review meetings.
  • Ability to articulate forecast methodologies and accuracy metrics such as MAPE and bias.

Job Description

This consultant will support the demand planning function by maintaining demand forecasts and ensuring planning accuracy while the internal team focuses on transformation activities. They will analyze historical sales data, market trends, and business inputs to develop and refine forecasts. The individual will collaborate with key stakeholders across commercial, finance, supply chain, and operations teams to align forecasts with business expectations and help identify forecasting risks and opportunities. They will also support planning meetings and contribute to continuous process improvements.
