Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is seeking a Demand Planner to develop and improve demand forecasts supporting sales, service, inventory and supply planning goals. The role collaborates across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Sales Strategy and Marketing through the S&OP process to enhance forecast accuracy.

The position is hybrid based in Ewing, NJ, requiring in-person attendance on Tue-Thu with remote options on Mon-Fri. Requires 5+ years in demand planning with ERP and BI tool experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of demand planning or forecast analysis experience required.
• Experience with demand planning, ERP, reporting and data visualization tools (Blue Yonder/JDA, SAP/APO, Power BI, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refresh and publish rolling 18-month weekly and monthly forecasts by brand and UPC.
• Partner with Sales, Sales Strategy, Marketing and Supply Planning to align forecasts with customer needs, promotions, new item launches, discontinuations and market trends.
• Lead Pre-S&OP and S&OP meetings with clear documentation of risks, assumptions, decisions and follow-up actions.
• Track forecast accuracy metrics, identify root causes of variance and drive continuous improvement actions.
• Use planning systems and reporting tools to identify forecast errors, trends, risks and corrective actions.
• Communicate demand changes and supply risks to Supply Chain Planning in a timely manner.
• Develop scenario plans for demand shifts, supply constraints, promotions and new item launches.
• Translate customer and market insights into forecast assumptions.

Job Summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a Demand Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and improving demand forecasts that support sales, service, inventory, and supply planning goals.

About the Role

This Demand Planner will partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Sales Strategy, and Marketing through the S&OP process to evaluate customer, market, and business inputs and improve forecast accuracy.

Work Environment

Hybrid:This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ, and requires in- person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Refresh and publish rolling 18-month weekly and monthly forecasts by brand and UPC.
• Partner with Sales, Sales Strategy, Marketing, and Supply Planning to align forecasts with customer needs, promotions, new item launches, discontinuations, and market trends.

Education and Experience

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of demand planning or forecast analysis experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with demand planning, ERP, reporting, and data visualization tools preferred, such as Blue Yonder/JDA, SAP/APO, Power BI, Excel, or similar systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $92.500– $131,700. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
