Job summary

Bostik in Wisconsin seeks a Demand Manager to lead forecasting and S&OP, driving improvements in forecast accuracy, inventory health, and service levels. You will own KPI development, collaborate with sales, production and customers, and guide continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes data analytics, strong Excel and SAP experience, and cross-functional leadership within a global network. Location is on-site in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Own demand planning performance by developing, monitoring, and reporting key KPIs (e.g., OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory health metrics such as DSI, excess, and aging).
• Lead forecasting processes by analyzing historical data, market trends, seasonality, and customer insights to generate accurate forecasts and adjust as needed.
• Drive forecast accuracy improvements through regular reporting, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize methods, hierarchy, and processes.
• Lead the monthly S&OP/SIOP process, aligning demand plans with inventory strategies and coordinating with supply chain teams to manage inventory targets.
• Collaborate cross-functional and externally (sales, production, customers) to close gaps between forecast and business plans, improve service levels, and identify inventory optimization opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Demand Manager, you will…

• Own demand planning performance by developing, monitoring, and reporting key KPIs (e.g., OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory health metrics such as DSI, excess, and aging) and driving continuous improvement.
• Lead forecasting processes by analyzing historical data, market trends, seasonality, and customer insights to generate accurate forecasts and recommend adjustments to align with demand changes.
• Drive forecast accuracy improvements through regular reporting, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize forecasting methods, hierarchy, and processes.
• Lead the monthly S&OP/SIOP process, aligning demand plans with inventory strategies and partnering with supply chain teams to set and manage inventory targets (e.g., safety stock, reorder points) and ensure execution.
• Collaborate cross-functional and externally (sales, production, customers) to close gaps between forecast and business plans, improve service levels, and identify opportunities for inventory optimization and SKU rationalization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in demand forecasting and sales planning for a large SKU portfolio (500+ items) within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in S&OP/SIOP and demand planning; experience with master scheduling and procurement preferred. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification highly preferred.
• Advanced analytical and technical skills, including data querying, data collection, trend analysis, and advanced proficiency in Excel and other data tools; experience with SAP and S&OP software preferred.
