Meyers is seeking a Delta Press Operator in Minnesota to run a delta converting machine and produce high-quality labels and converted products. The role entails setting up presses, monitoring output, inspecting against drawings, and assisting R&D on new applications.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders to confirm requirements and specs.
• Set up/adjust press for runs to meet specifications.
• Monitor quality and correct issues during production.
• Troubleshoot press problems and perform routine maintenance.
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain productivity.
• Assist R&D and Production with new applications.

The Delta Press Operator plays an integral role in the success of our company and our mission.As a **Delta Press Operator, **you are responsible for a Delta converting machine and manufacturing high-quality labels and specialized converted products. You will contribute to the development of new and innovative products encompassing a wide range of different materials.Multiple Shifts Available. We are growing!12-hour shifts, 3 days per week! Work 36 and get paid for 40.Days: 6am-6pm, Mon/Tue/Wed or Thur/Fri/SatNights: 6pm-6am, Sun/Mon/Tue or Wed/Thu/FriOperator ResponsibilitiesPerform job order review to ensure job requirements are known and understood.Set up/adjust press for job runs to meet specifications.Monitor product quality during production runs. Check product quality against drawing and established quality standards. Take action to correct any problems.Troubleshoot and correct most press operating problems.Perform routine press maintenance, upkeep and cleaning.Complete accurately all related job paperwork.Maintain acceptable productivity standards while minimizing raw material waste.Assist R&D and Production teams in researching and developing new applications.Qualifications and ExperienceAbility to understand and apply detailed instructions, completing detailed work precisely.Shop math skills including fractions, percentages and precise measurements.Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance and quality standards.Ability to meet physical demands of job including the ability to stand for extended periods of time; use of hands/dexterity; stoop, kneel, lift, carry, push and pull.
