Job summary

Trading Interview is seeking a New York-based commodity trader to manage our delta one and options book, focusing on larger, longer-tenor trades. You will run systematic and discretionary strategies while seeking opportunities to grow them.

A strong candidate understands trade lifecycle from signal to execution and to risk management, and collaborates across time zones with global teams and sell-side partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commodity trading options (gas, power or oil preferred).
• Able to think critically and implement new ideas.
• Strong understanding of options pricing and risk management.
• Comfortable coordinating across time zones and with sell-side counterparts.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Run our commodity delta one and options book with emphasis on larger, longer tenor trades.
• Develop and oversee systematic and discretionary trading strategies.
• Collaborate with global commodities teams and sell-side counterparts for risk lay-off.
• Analyze lifecycle of trades from signal to execution to book and risk management.
