Job Title: Dell Storage Engineer

Location: Buckley Air Force Base (Onsite)

Duration: 1 yr

Rate: $70/hr (1099)

Clearance: Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance

Date: 3/19/25 HIGH PRIORITY

About the Role:

We’re seeking a highly skilled Dell Storage Engineer to support a critical project at Buckley Air Force Base. In this role, you’ll play a key part in optimizing and scaling storage infrastructure, bringing best practices to rectify past misconfigurations and prepare for a large-scale data migration. This is an onsite role requiring an active TS/SCI clearance and deep expertise in storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Rectify best practices and resolve storage issues from non-Dell configurations.
2. Support migration to Dell PowerStore, ensuring seamless data transfer and system optimization.
3. Manage and scale the environment from a few hundred TB to 60 PB over the next 12-18 months.
4. Administer and maintain Dell storage solutions, including Hitachi/Unity arrays and PowerStore.
5. Provide post-configuration assistance and ongoing operations & maintenance support.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure storage systems align with operational needs.

Qualifications:

1. Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
2. Extensive experience with Dell storage products, including PowerStore.
3. Familiarity with Hitachi/Unity arrays and transitioning environments to Dell solutions.
4. Knowledge of Dell server models (PE750/PE760) is a plus.
5. Proven experience scaling storage systems and managing large data environments.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement storage best practices.
