Job summary

R.E. Michel Company, LLC is seeking a Warehouse/Driver in Birmingham, AL to safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles, fulfill orders, and make deliveries while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualified candidates will have a valid driver’s license, pass DOT requirements, and be willing to work Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays. Join a fast-paced team at a family-owned HVACR equipment distributor with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.
