Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a basic working knowledge of computers and ability to learn computerized systems.
• Ability to perform basic math and read instructions accurately.
• Proficient reading skills; able to understand labels, orders and safety instructions.
• English language proficiency to communicate clearly and follow directions.
• Legal work documentation may be required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customers and unload from vendor trucks.
• Maintain site inventory and assist with inventory audits.
• Stock and transfer material to shelves, racks or pipe bundles.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare shipments for delivery.
• Operate forklift and heavy equipment for loading and unloading.
• Prepare outbound shipment documentation and file paperwork accordingly.
• Keep the warehouse clean and compliant with OSHA safety policies.
• Report hazards, injuries, or safety issues to supervisors.
• Attend daily pre-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain punctual attendance and adhere to company policies.
