Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. in Memphis is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Support to safely transport materials between vendors, job sites, and company facilities and to assist with inbound/outbound warehouse operations.

The role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, with forklift certification preferred. You will help with receiving, staging, inventory, and shipping activities and support field personnel and warehouse coordinators to keep operations efficient.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and inventory system knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Pick up and deliver materials from vendors and suppliers.
• Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to field personnel and job sites.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments.
• Help stage, pull, package, and prepare materials for outbound deliveries.
• Verify delivery paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Land and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned company vehicles and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations (if applicable), and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.
