Job summary

Slice is seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Delivery Associate in East Rutherford, NJ. You will drive Slice delivery vans to our customers, support warehouse tasks, and help maintain a clean, safe environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in delivery or warehouse settings, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Spanish language skills are a plus and training for printers will be provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of delivery, warehouse, or related experience.
• Valid US Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory tasks.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse space.
• Effective communication to collaborate with team members.
• Physically capable of lifting ~50 lbs and performing manual tasks safely.
• Reliable transportation to our warehouse in East Rutherford, NJ.
• Fluent Spanish speaking skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

The Challenge to Solve

Buying affordable, high quality supplies is one of the biggest challenges facing local independent restaurants today; they pay higher prices than franchises and often must use outdated systems to place & receive their orders. Slice’s "The Goods" seeks to solve this challenge by empowering local restaurant owners to order high-quality supplies at unmatched prices, on demand, in just a few clicks.

The Role

Your day will be fast-paced and you'll be cross-trained across delivery, warehouse, and print operations:

• Delivering supplies (ex: pizza boxes, paper bags, plastic cutlery kits) to our customers via Slice delivery vans
• Maintaining a positive & professional attitude when interacting with customers
• Supporting daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and palletizing
• Learning to operate and supporting high-volume digital printers for corrugated cardboard (training provided!)
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse and production environment

Schedule: Full-time. Day Shift (Monday–Friday) or Evening Shift (Sunday–Thursday).

• Valid US Driver's License + clean driving record
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks such as picking, packing, and inventory counting
• Organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse space
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
• Physically capable of lifting ~50 lbs and engaging in physical work safely for the duration of the shift; this includes standing, crouching, bending & reaching
• Reliable transportation to our warehouse in East Rutherford, NJ
• Ability to work scheduled hours; regular and consistent attendance is required
• Fluent Spanish speaking skills are a plus!
