Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Associate to support branch operations in the Westside area of Texas. The role involves preparing and delivering parts, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining safe, accurate inventory.

You will follow routes, assist customers, and ensure proper documentation and safety checks throughout the day. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of warehouse experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of general warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operator certification and 1 year experience operating a forklift highly desired.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pull and organize customer orders for delivery from warehouse by part number and quantity as directed by picking ticket.
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers, ensuring the order being delivered is correct and maintaining professionalism.
• Load materials into vehicle and secure with bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Follow delivery routes to maximize efficiency of the delivery run.
• Pick up returns and cores, tag appropriately, and return to the branch.
• Determine daily vehicle operability by completing inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Manually load/unload materials on pallets, skids or lifting devices.
• Stock and maintain inventory in designated warehouse areas.
• Move controls to operate forklifts to transport materials between loading, processing and storage areas.
• Complete forklift operator training annually as required.
• Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Inspect vehicles prior to driving to ensure safety and compliance.
