Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in Decatur, AL is hiring a Driver-Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass a DOT physical, and warehouse delivery duties with a focus on accuracy and safety.

You will handle loading, unloading, and stocking, while maintaining customer service and timely deliveries. Responsibilities include picking orders, documenting shipments, securing loads, and assisting in warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required per Crawford standards.
• DOT physical must be obtained.
• At least 6 months of related warehouse/delivery experience or training.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and handle physical duties.
• PIT equipment proficiency; reach truck and order picker skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure good customer relations through on time deliveries and courteous service.
• Transport and deliver goods in a timely manner.
• Pick material for orders, load material, and document shipments.
• Secure loads and verify freight counts and condition.
• Report overages, shortages and damages as needed.
• Prepare receipts for load pickup or delivery and collect payments when applicable.
• Maintain communication with management for delivery instructions.
• Assist with warehouse duties when no deliveries are scheduled.
